Job Summary

Join Intel’s CPU Circuit Technology team as a CPU Memory Design Engineer to design, develop, and build full-custom and compiler-based memories (SRAMs, ROMs, memory arrays) for high-performance CPUs and SoCs. You’ll optimize memory IP and periphery, drive PPA improvements, collaborate with cross-disciplinary experts, and contribute to next-generation, low-power embedded memory on advanced CMOS processes in a hybrid work model.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and build full-custom as well as compiler-based SRAMs, large signal arrays, ROMs, and memory IP for Intel CPU/SOC platforms.
•Perform memory circuit design, characterization, simulations, and optimization to meet power, performance, and area constraints.
•Lead memory path-finding activities and PPA optimization, including periphery IC design and automation.
•Drive memory array/IP design and memory circuit innovation while collaborating with domain experts across technology development.
•Define methodologies and execute project schedules to deliver high-quality memory technology collateral.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 122,440 - 232,190 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a STEM-related field with 4+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience; or PhD
•Proficiency in CMOS circuit design, digital logic optimizations, and circuit trade-offs for power, performance, and area
•Expertise in Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) circuits and design methodologies
•Experience in low-power implementation techniques and memory design
•Familiarity with EBB design tools, flows and methodologies, and signal integrity analysis
