Job Summary

Join NTT DATA UK’s Data Practice to help clients adopt practical, governed Applied AI capabilities within modern data platforms. You’ll configure and validate platform-native AI features (e.g., Snowflake Cortex, Databricks AI/BI, Microsoft Fabric Copilot and agents), implement RAG/vector search and conversational analytics, and evaluate outputs for accuracy, grounding, and usability. Partner with engineering and analytics teams to deliver secure, scalable AI-enabled data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Configure, test, and implement AI-enabled capabilities within modern data platforms, with depth in at least one of Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric.
•Support AI use cases such as natural language querying, AI-assisted analytics, document and data search, automated insight generation, and conversational access to enterprise data.
•Prepare and structure data for AI-enabled analytics, using SQL, Python, PySpark, notebooks, and platform-native tooling to transform, test, and expose data.
•Implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, semantic search, and enterprise knowledge retrieval aligned to client needs.
•Ensure enterprise readiness by addressing governance, security, privacy, observability, cost management, documentation, and operational handover; evaluate outputs for accuracy, grounding, relevance, and hallucination risk.

Key Requirements

•3-5 years’ experience in a data-focused role (e.g., Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, Data Analyst, BI Developer, Data Platform Consultant, or Applied AI Consultant).
•Hands-on experience with at least one modern data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, AWS, or GCP) and willingness to expand across ecosystems.
•Strong SQL skills and practical experience with structured and semi-structured data.
•Experience with data engineering/analytics engineering concepts including data modelling, pipelines, ELT/ETL, data quality, and analytical data products.
•Hands-on experience with Python and/or PySpark (e.g., notebooks or equivalent) for data preparation, analysis, testing, or automation.
