Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform assignments to build construction management knowledge and capabilities using standard project processes under experienced staff.
  • •Support Project Managers, Superintendents, and Project Engineers with day-to-day construction management and field activities.
  • •Assist with planning and coordination of subcontractor activities and help monitor construction for conformance with plans, specifications, schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • •Review project documentation including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, project logs, daily reports, and other construction records.
  • •Assist with schedule and planning activities (work sequences, manpower, material deliveries, equipment requirements) and participate in jobsite and coordination meetings as appropriate.

Key Requirements

  • •Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, and/or a similar discipline and having completed at least 1 year of study.
  • •Recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree who plans to continue with a master’s degree are eligible (with enrollment in the previous school term).
  • •Experience working for a general contractor.
  • •Previous relevant internship experience.
  • •Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook), plus exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
