Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead cross-functional teams across Systems Engineering, Configuration Management, and Systems Integration & Test to align execution and guide technical discussions.
  • •Develop, decompose, and manage system and subsystem requirements using approved requirements tools, including maintaining bidirectional RVTM traceability.
  • •Create and manage Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for internal and external integrations across hardware, software, avionics, and platform interfaces.
  • •Apply MBSE methodologies (SysML) to develop architectures, functional decompositions, use cases, and interface models.
  • •Lead integration/verification in lab and aircraft environments and run formal design milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, SVR) while identifying and mitigating technical risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related STEM field.
  • •12+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or mission-critical system development across the full systems development lifecycle.
  • •Proficiency with requirements management tools, including requirements development, decomposition, tracing, validation, and verification.
  • •Experience authoring and reviewing ICDs and other systems engineering artifacts (e.g., CONOPS, trade studies, EMP/ECPs, documentation trees).
  • •Knowledge of MIL-STD documentation standards and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
