Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure team members adhere to safety and food safety policies and address deficiencies as needed.
  • •Manage/supervise utility technicians across 4+ shifts, including scheduling and setting priorities to meet facility needs.
  • •Maintain mechanical and operational knowledge of plant utility systems (ammonia, steam, compressed air, electrical, fire protection, hot water) to train and troubleshoot.
  • •Use CMMS/SAP for data entry, work management, and train others on proper usage.
  • •Lead or assist with audits, PM reviews, and follow-through to completion; identify and implement maintenance and process improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in a mechanical/refrigeration field with in-depth knowledge of ammonia refrigeration process/equipment and refrigeration theory/operations.
  • •Have experience with utility systems such as water, steam, pneumatics, fire protection, and HVAC.
  • •Successfully completed technical training in Industrial Refrigeration or demonstrate ability to achieve such training.
  • •Working knowledge of CMMS systems.
  • •Good written and oral communication skills and the ability to work independently; must reside in the United States.
