Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce, coordinate, review and/or approve electrical design plans for complex power plant projects
  • •Apply high-level electrical engineering techniques to support all project phases from preliminary design to commissioning and record drawings
  • •Support generation project scoping, budgeting, and proposals
  • •Oversee development of power plant electrical drawings (Onelines, Breaker Control Schematics, Bus Duct Layouts, Equipment Elevations, Cable Schedules, etc.)
  • •Oversee development of equipment specifications (power and control cables, unit auxiliary transformers, isolated phase bus ducts, generator circuit breakers, etc.)

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • •10+ years of relevant post-education experience in power generation design
  • •Professional Engineer license (multiple states preferred)

  • •Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and coordination with mechanical and civil disciplines
