Key Responsibilities

  • •Clean and remove debris from vehicle interiors and trunk/engine compartments, including license plates and non-Auction window markings.
  • •Wash vehicles using high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment; apply chemicals and clean battery terminals.
  • •Detail exterior and interior surfaces by cleaning/dressing trim, molding, weather stripping, and dashboards, and cleaning wheels, tires, and lighting.
  • •Buff and wax vehicles using compound/cleaner/polish and a rotary buffer or by hand; vacuum and spot clean upholstery and carpets.
  • •Follow safety and health procedures, support safety activities, and drive vehicles to the correct staging area as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • •Previous experience in detail shop or buffing experience is helpful.
  • •Valid driver’s license and safe driving record required.
  • •Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Meets physical requirements for standing, walking, reaching, bending, climbing, and lifting 1–30 pounds.
