Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake detailed maintenance, inspection, and supervision activities on the Typhoon aircraft and components.
  • •Ensure maintenance is completed in accordance with work packages using relevant approved technical information.
  • •Resolve faults and maintenance issues, including configuration management, and perform tasked diagnostic and maintenance activities.
  • •Supervise personnel to ensure maintenance is undertaken to schedule, escalate issues as required, and report program impact.
  • •Maintain authorizations and log book currency/recency; provide guidance and leadership, develop team members via assessment processes and on-the-job training.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of Typhoon Q-Course is essential.
  • •2+ years working at Technician level prior to undertaking a Supervisor role.
  • •Engineering apprenticeship (ideally Aeronautical Engineering) plus minimum academic qualification of City & Guilds 2675 or 2661 in Aeronautical Engineering and Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • •Demonstrated broad and in-depth product knowledge/competency in the technical subject area, with practical aviation safety standards and safe operating practices experience.
  • •Comprehensive knowledge of Expositions and Functionally Mandated Procedures Management training, including PDR training/experience and compliance with risk assessments, SHE policies and procedures.
