Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician.
  • •Residence requirement by tier: Brooklyn/Queens/Manhattan (Tier I); Brooklyn/Queens/Manhattan/Bronx/Nassau County (Tier II); plus Northern NJ or Westchester (Tier III).
  • •NICET Level I certification (preferred across tiers).
  • •Edwards EST experience (preferred across tiers).
  • •FDNY S78 or S98 required for Tier II and Tier III employees; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
