Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive PCA designs by resolving DFM issues for SMT and system integration.
  • •Optimize high-layer-count PCB manufacturing and BGA assembly, supporting reliability and quality during development to production readiness.
  • •Lead process validation, troubleshooting, and failure/root cause analysis using 8D methodology.
  • •Manage NPI lifecycles from prototype to full production, including BOM risk assessment, second sourcing, and component qualification.
  • •Manage ECOs and version control via PLM systems, and drive continuous improvement in yield, cost, and quality while coordinating cross-functionally with supply chain.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/MS in Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering with 5-7+ years of NPI engineering experience.
  • •Hands-on experience with Advanced SMT and high-layer-count PCB assembly (30+ layers preferred).
  • •Circuit debugging, troubleshooting, failure/root cause analysis, and 8D methodology experience.
  • •Knowledge of Design for Excellence (DFx), including DFM, DFR, DFT, DFC, and DFQ.
  • •Proficiency with PLM systems (e.g., Propel, Agile) to manage ECO/MCO/DEV/PCN processes and product lifecycles.
