Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and manage enterprise reference data maintenance and pricing for multiple asset classes including fixed income, equities, derivatives, and foreign exchange.
  • •Manage market data feeds (end-of-day and real time) from third-party vendors and update internal data tasks in HSBC systems.
  • •Maintain pricing and instrument reference data by handling input, amendment, and maintenance of products and rates.
  • •Perform reference data quality checks across financial products (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and ensure understanding of business systems and downstream impacts.
  • •Manage queue and turnaround times, report/escalate breaches, communicate delays, follow up on ageing requests and update procedure documents for changes and gaps.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of work with reference data services in financial sectors.
  • •Knowledge of financial services, capital markets, and investment banking, including reference data functions like Security Master, Corporate Action, and Pricing (advantage).
  • •Good understanding of market/regulatory updates and how they impact the process.
  • •Moderate/good Excel and Access skills.
  • •Strong communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage queue/turnaround expectations.
