Job Summary

Metalurgical Process Control Technician at RTX responsible for temperature uniformity surveys on forged components, calibration and maintenance of MT&E equipment, data collection and trend analysis, and cross-functional teamwork to drive continuous improvement. Works with SAP, Solumina, and MRP in a 2nd shift, onsite manufacturing setting with potential OT.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform temperature uniformity surveys on thermal processing furnaces within the facility.
•Calibrate and maintain electronic measurement and test equipment (MT&E), including temperature controllers, indicators, and recorders.
•Serve as a focal point for issue resolution, collaborating with engineering, customer service, and operations to drive continuous improvement.
•Collect and analyze data to identify adverse trends and opportunities for improvement.
•Participate in cross-functional team projects to enhance overall organizational performance

Key Requirements

•2 years of Maintenance / Electronics or Electrical experience or a 2 year technical degree
•U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
•Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings.
•Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Results focused work ethic to resolve issues in a timely manner
