Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Data Platform as a Service solution design and reviews, making trade-offs across resilience, performance, cost, and time-to-market.
  • •Drive engineering excellence including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and release governance.
  • •Guide engineers/teams through complexity and raise engineering standards through day-to-day actions (leading by doing).
  • •Define reference architectures and reusable patterns for ingestion, transformation, and serving using cloud-native open-source stacks.
  • •Focus on modern delivery and operations using end-to-end ownership, continuous delivery/DevOps practices, operational metrics (e.g., DORA), and embed AI/ML (including GenAI) into data and engineering workflows while maintaining quality.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience in relevant technologies.
  • •Deep expertise designing and implementing Data Platform services across global functions, with strong teamwork and communication.
  • •A proven record delivering data technologies globally, with literacy to discuss Data & AI trends and regulatory expectations (e.g., Data Privacy & Localization).
  • •Data engineering expertise using Python and platforms/tools including Dataflow, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Hadoop, NiFi, Kafka, and RDBMS/Open Source stacks with Cloud SQL.
  • •Hands-on cloud-native and delivery tools (Git, Jenkins, Airflow, CI/CD), plus experience with DevSecOps/IT automation and deploying/consuming agentic/LLM services endpoints.
