Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide additional identification of operational risks across business processes and systems in partnership with process owners.
  • •Proactively identify high-risk areas for intervention, performing independent quality assurance and vertical process testing.
  • •Drive implementation and integration of Smart Monitoring across GMNS aligned to the ORM framework, partnering with Global Risk & Compliance and process owners.
  • •Lead end-to-end Smart Monitoring use-case development, including data discovery, analytical test design, UAT, implementation, and post-implementation monitoring.
  • •Establish governance and oversight for Smart Monitoring with program metrics, performance reporting, execution tracking, and senior management insights.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Risk and/or Internal Audit) and understanding operational risk lifecycle activities.
  • •Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with and obtain buy-in from senior business and technology counterparts.
  • •Expertise in process governance, with a track record of establishing and overseeing decision-making processes aligned with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards.
  • •Experience within the financial services industry.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively.
