Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the mechanical design and drive mechanical architecture for server and GPU products used in data centers.
  • •Collaborate with global teams to design and integrate mechanical systems for compute and networking products.
  • •Drive mechanical development across server design, rack-level integration, and cooling solutions, including optics/laser technologies as applicable.
  • •Champion design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for reliability (DFR) and support design reviews with actionable feedback.
  • •Perform advanced mechanical design and modeling in Creo, conduct tolerance analyses, and support post-silicon test planning and characterization.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • •Senior-level experience leading mechanical design and development for server, networking, switch, storage, or related high-performance computing platforms.
  • •Advanced proficiency with CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks, including complex modeling and assembly management.
  • •Advanced knowledge of thermal management and cooling systems, plus statistical/structural methods including tolerance analysis and FEA.
  • •Proven integration expertise of silicon into system-level server environments, with strong engineering judgment for technical tradeoffs.
