Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure full compliance with company PPE requirements while working in oxide, mixed, and sulphide flotation circuits and gravity concentrators.
  • •Perform assigned plant maintenance (boiler making) tasks safely, timely, and to OEM and FQM expectations.
  • •Comply with Safety and Environmental Management systems by identifying and managing risks and maintaining a safe working environment through required procedures and practices.
  • •Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment in flotation circuits and gravity concentrators with accuracy and safety consciousness.
  • •Diagnose faults via periodical inspections and tests, and support preventive maintenance and breakdown work to identify and eliminate defects.

Key Requirements

  • •Craft Certificate in boiler making from a recognized institution.
  • •A Grade 12 school certificate.
  • •Fully paid-up member of ElZ (Craftsperson).
  • •Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fixed processing plant as a qualified boiler maker related to flotation plants and gravity concentrators.
  • •A valid Zambian driving license class C (added advantage).
