Job Summary

Maintain and repair equipment and structures in the Flotation Plants & Gravity Concentrators at Kansanshi Processing Plant to maximize availability and support copper and gold production targets. Ensure safe, high-quality boiler-making maintenance work compliant with PPE, Safety and Environmental Management systems, and OEM standards. Diagnose faults using inspection and testing methods, execute preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs, and coordinate with maintenance and process teams to meet safety, production, and cost KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure full compliance with company PPE requirements while working in oxide, mixed, and sulphide flotation circuits and gravity concentrators.
•Perform assigned plant maintenance (boiler making) tasks safely, timely, and to OEM and FQM expectations.
•Comply with Safety and Environmental Management systems by identifying and managing risks and maintaining a safe working environment through required procedures and practices.
•Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment in flotation circuits and gravity concentrators with accuracy and safety consciousness.
•Diagnose faults via periodical inspections and tests, and support preventive maintenance and breakdown work to identify and eliminate defects.

Key Requirements

•Craft Certificate in boiler making from a recognized institution.
•A Grade 12 school certificate.
•Fully paid-up member of ElZ (Craftsperson).
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fixed processing plant as a qualified boiler maker related to flotation plants and gravity concentrators.
•A valid Zambian driving license class C (added advantage).
