Job Summary

Ensure product quality by performing in-process and post-production inspections and testing “on the floor” at a regulated manufacturing site. Support dispositioning of products and raw materials, run visual inspection checks (including AQL), and maintain product retain samples. Provide reports and trending data to QA management, support investigations and non-conformance events, and document/review records against SOPs and USP/cGMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform in-process and post-production quality checks and product testing in the compounding suites to ensure acceptability.
•Perform line clearance (where applicable) and conduct AQL visual inspections.
•Provide reporting and trending data to QA management and support escalation of investigations and non-conformance events.
•Support quality processes in the pharmacy, including inspections, pH meter and scale checks, deviation/complaint investigations, corrective actions, and training activities.
•Document and review quality records (SOP generation, batch record review, COA acceptance, USP monographs) and support audits and sample management with contract laboratories.

Key Requirements

•B.S. in chemistry, microbiology, biology, quality management, engineering, or related field preferred.
•1-3 years experience in quality assurance/control, process/quality engineering, and/or product formulation.
•A Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one within the first six months of employment.
•Experience in a 503b outsourcing facility and/or cGMP or other regulated environments, including knowledge of FDA 21CFR 210 and 211.
•Aseptic processing experience and knowledge of ISO 14644; working knowledge of USP-NF <795>, <797>, and <800> (including monographs).
