Job Summary

Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with RTA specifications, approved submittals, and contract requirements. Review source approvals, delivery notes, batch certificates, and test reports; witness sampling and laboratory/field tests for civil materials; and monitor storage, handling, and protection to prevent damage. Maintain QA/QC inspection records, raise NCRs, support audits and RTA inspections, and report daily material and testing status to engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to site for compliance with RTA specifications, approved submittals, and contract requirements.
•Check material source approvals, delivery notes, batch certificates, and test reports prior to acceptance and use.
•Perform sampling and witness laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials per approved ITPs.
•Inspect roadworks and civil activities (asphalt paving, concrete works, earthworks, backfilling) and ensure materials meet approved specifications and drawings.
•Maintain inspection records and material logs for QA/QC and as-built documentation; raise NCRs and follow corrective actions while ensuring HSE compliance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Diploma education background.
•Must be an RTA or DM approval holder.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE.
•Ability to inspect materials and verify compliance with RTA/DM and contract documentation.
•Familiarity with sampling, witnessing, and reviewing test reports and inspection records.
