Job Summary

Join our Pre-Sales team as a Trusted Advisor guiding customers and partners to design and build reliable, scalable systems on MongoDB’s data platform. You’ll engage across startups to enterprise IT, lead technical discovery and architecture reviews, collaborate with cross-functional sales, and help drive deals with impactful demonstrations and value storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

•Guide customers and partners to design and build reliable, scalable systems using MongoDB’s data platform.
•Work closely with field partner leaders and play a key role in winning deals and driving the business forward.
•Be a trusted advisor to a wide range of users from startups to large enterprise IT organizations.
•Collaborate with cross-functional sales teams to formulate and execute an end-to-end deal cycle.
•Translate technical concepts and patterns into business benefits for management and executives.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of related industry experience, ideally 2 years in a partner-facing role.
•2+ years experience with modern scripting languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, SQL) and/or popular programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, C#).
•Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-prem.
•Demonstrated ability to work with customers to review complex architecture of existing applications, providing guidance on how to improve by leveraging technology.
•Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and business concepts to technology and business leadership.
