Job Summary

Join Zapier’s Release Engineering team to design, build, and operate CI/CD systems, release orchestration, and testing infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and operate the CI/CD systems, release orchestration, and testing infrastructure that Zapier engineers depend on.
•Define and evolve the golden paths for how code gets built, tested, and shipped at Zapier.
•Own end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, from design doc through rollout and impact measurement.
•Build internal tooling and APIs to improve engineers’ effectiveness and shorten time from merge to production.
•Debug production issues across pipelines and release systems, participate in incident response, and drive systemic improvements.

Salary: INR 5,297,600 - 9,615,100 annually

Key Requirements

•Deep experience with CI/CD systems, testing strategy, and release orchestration — built or meaningfully improved these systems.
•Hands-on experience with platform tools such as GitLab CI, Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, Terraform, or similar.
•Ability to take loosely defined problems and drive them to production, writing design docs and rollout plans.
•Strong backend or fullstack engineering fundamentals and production APIs/services experience (TypeScript, Node.js, Python, or equivalent).
•Comfortable making pragmatic technical decisions under uncertainty and able to articulate reasoning clearly; collaborate across teams in an async-first environment.
