Job Summary

Oversee construction safety, security, health, and environmental performance during project construction and commissioning. You will work under the Site HSSE Manager to establish and maintain an effective HSSE system aligned with legal requirements and ISO/Client expectations, ensure contractors and site personnel understand HSSE responsibilities, and build/troubleshoot training and competency assurance programs for all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

•Report to the Site HSSE Manager.
•Oversee project construction safety, security, health, and environment during construction and commissioning.
•Establish an effective HSSE system in accordance with legal and other requirements (ISO, Wood, and Client).
•Ensure contractors and manpower comply with the Company HSSE policy, site regulations, and permit to work procedures.
•Develop and deliver HSSE training and establish workforce competency assurance and tracking for all phases of project execution.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in public health (Occupational Health and Safety) or certification as a Professional Safety Officer by the Ministry of Labour.
•Minimum 8 years of substantial HSSE experience in Live Plant, Greenfield, and Turnaround/Revamp work for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or similar plants.
•Extensive experience applying worksite HSSE plans, work practices, and HSSE procedures/standards requirements.
•Comprehensive knowledge of Project Monthly and Weekly Construction Report content for HSSE leading and lagging indicators.
•Skills in preparing/reviewing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis, and permit to work systems; strong English communication and Thai HSSE law knowledge.
