Job Summary

Define and drive new product opportunities by translating market needs into technical specifications for silicon and system solutions. Conduct end-equipment and silicon system evaluation, assess IC development tradeoffs, and support customer product ramp-ups. Create and maintain technical documentation and literature (datasheets, app notes, EVMs, models), troubleshoot customer application issues, and collaborate across design, product, test, marketing, and sales to deliver designs to RTM.

Key Responsibilities

•Research and create new product definitions, including business case proposals, product strategies, and taking products to RTM.
•Analyze end-equipment in automotive, industrial, consumer, and computing spaces to identify trends and performance/value opportunities.
•Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams and customers, and act as technical expert for customer product ramp-up.
•Evaluate silicon systems (HW and SW if needed), produce related documentation, and provide application support for new and existing products.
•Troubleshoot customer application issues using lab testing and schematic analysis; create technical literature (datasheets, application notes, user's guides, EVMs, models) and interface across functional teams to resolve problems.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, Computer Engineering, or a comparable degree.
•3 years of relevant engineering experience.
•Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs and their application.
•Experience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins with system solutions.
•Familiarity with lab equipment and system-level circuit modeling with EDA tools, SPICE, and Matlab.
