Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise to develop process safety capabilities and support safe and effective plant operations.
  • •Develop and implement a site strategy to move from Intolerable Risk to Broadly Acceptable Risk across all PSM elements.
  • •Implement process safety programs, tools, training, and assessments aligned with Kerry's PSM framework.
  • •Facilitate multidisciplinary teams in Management of Change (MoC), incident investigations, risk assessments, Safety Integrity Level (SIL) studies and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).
  • •Lead site HAZOP activities, drive resulting actions, and ensure Hazardous Area Classifications (HAC) are identified, maintained, and compliant with Kerry standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •Chartered Chemical Engineer (CEng) status is preferred.
  • •Minimum 5 years' experience in process safety, chemical engineering or process engineering roles.
  • •Experience within the chemical, energy, pharmaceutical, food or beverage manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
  • •Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
