Key Responsibilities

  • •Support senior and lead electrical engineers with electrical design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects.
  • •Produce electrical deliverables including power supply capacity assessments, load calculations, single line and cable block diagrams, cable calculations, and cable schedules.
  • •Develop lighting design specifications and MCC/control panel specifications, including Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA) scopes.
  • •Utilise Amtech and Electrical OM software for electrical design work.
  • •Collaborate across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams and assist with client and contractor liaison as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •MEng in Electrical Engineering (2:1 or above, or equivalent).
  • •Basic computer skills (Word/Excel) and good report writing skills.
  • •Willing to work towards professional qualifications such as Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (e.g., via IET).
  • •Demonstrable interest in water projects.
  • •Structure and prioritise work effectively with the team and work independently without losing initiative.
