Key Responsibilities

  • •Determine where and how to locate flight test equipment on the air vehicle based on upstream test requirements.
  • •Design detailed mechanical components (e.g., shelves, equipment trays, wiring clips, brackets, sensor mounts, specialized test mechanisms).
  • •Incorporate instrumentation into mechanical designs, including model-based wire routing and installation definition for modifying the production airframe.
  • •Coordinate with manufacturing engineering and suppliers on producibility and procurement, and support installation with engineering revisions.
  • •Support mod and installation activities, including occasional shipside support, across Saint Louis production programs and multiple aircraft platforms.
