Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive the creation of novel audio codecs through ideation, implementation, and evaluation of audio processing algorithms.
  • •Create standard essential patents within the framework of international standardization bodies such as MPEG and 3GPP.
  • •Use test-driven design to ensure implementations deliver the desired audio experience.
  • •Play an active role in the standardization of the audio codecs under development.
  • •Collaborate with standardization experts to advance 3D audio standards and related technologies.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering (Software, Computer, Electrical, Electronics/Communications)
  • •Creative team player with minimum 3 years of experience in Audio Digital Signal Processing algorithm development
  • •Experience in Python and C/C++ programming
  • •Pragmatic, hands-on researcher exploring novel ideas within audio standardization
  • •Experience in participation/support role within Audio standardization bodies
