Key Responsibilities

  • •Shepherd and evolve the Privacy Review Program, designing intake workflows, evaluation criteria, and documentation to assess privacy risk.
  • •Develop standards and guidelines enabling product teams to adopt privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) with clear trade-off and implementation guidance.
  • •Act as the Privacy SME for policy-as-code by translating privacy requirements and regulations into automated, enforceable engineering controls.
  • •Partner with Regulatory Compliance, Trust & Safety, and Legal to align program outcomes with compliance obligations and evolving global privacy frameworks.
  • •Drive privacy-by-design adoption through self-service tooling, consultation, scalable enablement, and clear communication of privacy risk posture to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of professional experience in privacy engineering, privacy program management, or related security/compliance work.
  • •Experience owning or significantly shaping privacy review and privacy governance, including designing review workflows and driving decisions to closure.
  • •Deep expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) including differential privacy, homomorphic encryption, k-anonymity, federated learning, and secure multi-party computation.
  • •Hands-on experience identifying and mitigating privacy vulnerabilities and risks in data systems, including inference, linkage, and homogeneity attacks.
  • •Hands-on policy-as-code experience for automating compliance enforcement in engineering pipelines (e.g., OPA/Rego, Cedar), plus strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, and LGPD implications.
