Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure time, cost, and quality for mechanical system installation design/development tasks and in-service support, maintenance, and upkeep.
  • •Create specific and generic construction/engineering deliverables for MSI for Tornado and Eurofighter.
  • •Develop and engineer mechanical installations for electrical equipment and core mechanical systems for military aircraft.
  • •Manage engineering subcontractors and oversee suppliers, including Design & Build and Build to Print models and risk-sharing partners.
  • •Support project management effectiveness, coordinate interfaces with other departments and stakeholders, and contribute MSI content to commercial technical offers.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical field.
  • •Multi-year practical experience in design, ideally for military aircraft (or first experience via internships/final theses/working student).
  • •Strong skills reading and interpreting technical drawings and creating detailed drawings.
  • •Tool knowledge: CATIA V5 / 3DExperience and product data management systems (PDM).
  • •German and English skills at B2 level or higher.
