Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform inspections and diagnostics on Army GSE and MHE during turn-in processing, and conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per Army standards.
  • •Service and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including generators, compressors, hydraulic jacks, forklifts, and specialized support tools.
  • •Troubleshoot faults using Army-approved diagnostic tools, replace worn/damaged components, and return equipment to a serviceable state when authorized.
  • •Maintain audit-ready documentation by recording maintenance/inspection results, updating condition codes (A–H), and documenting deficiencies for property accountability.
  • •Follow OSHA, Army, and company safety policies during maintenance, safely handle hazardous materials, and coordinate with supply/material teams to verify serviceability and documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of hands-on experience maintaining GSE or MHE in an Army or contractor environment.
  • •Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, technical manuals (TMs), and property accountability requirements.
  • •Experience performing preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) for GSE/MHE.
  • •Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and read TMs, schematics, and maintenance work orders.
  • •Proficiency with Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army and strong recordkeeping/documentation skills.
