Job Summary

Provide first-level technical support to end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues across desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. Monitor network and server performance alerts, execute service/change requests, and resolve incidents using NTT’s ticketing system. Support 24/7 coverage via 12-hour rotational shifts, coordinate with vendors and carriers, and continuously improve support procedures with strong customer communication and analytical problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues for end users across IT systems and applications.
•Install, configure, and maintain end-user computing devices and software.
•Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
•Monitor and manage network and server performance alerts, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
•Receive/execute service and change requests, coordinate troubleshooting with customers/vendors/network carriers, and document incidents in the NTT ticketing system.

Key Requirements

•Diploma/degree or relevant qualification in IT/Computing, or equivalent work experience related to IT helpdesk or customer support.
•Bilingual Japanese and English (reading, writing, speaking); Japanese non-natives require advanced/fluent Japanese (minimum JLPT N2).
•Flexibility to work shift patterns, including 12-hour rotational shifts covering day/night/customized working hours.
•Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
•Experience or knowledge in helpdesk/service desk or customer service, end-user computing, and familiarity with network and server monitoring tools; ITIL/CompTIA A+/Network+ are advantageous.
