Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage environmental inputs to EIA screening and scoping reports, environmental assessments/Environmental Statements, and supporting documents, including technical review of specialist chapters.
  • •Oversee the project lifecycle activities from early strategy/site identification and feasibility through design, discharging conditions, and construction/operation support.
  • •Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and comply with quality management procedures.
  • •Coordinate resources and budgets and contribute to effective project management, with support as applicable.
  • •Identify environmental constraints and develop impact avoidance/mitigation solutions; manage client relationships and support business development and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Interest and experience managing and coordinating multidisciplinary environmental inputs to infrastructure development projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of EIA and environmental assessment methods, plus planning legislation and relevant consenting/licensing regimes.
  • •Experience delivering consultancy services with strong project management skills, including programming, resourcing, and budget management.
  • •Confident stakeholder engagement, with excellent verbal and report-writing skills and ability to perform technical review.
  • •Degree in a relevant environmental discipline (preferably at Masters level) with appropriate professional membership; chartered status and mentoring/line management interest would be advantageous.
