Key Responsibilities

•Oversee collecting, compiling, and analyzing data from sites, surveys, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project development, design, and construction.
•Apply high-level mechanical engineering techniques from concept development through final design, procurement, construction, and operation.
•Conduct investigations and inspections of proposed and existing site conditions, equipment, facilities, infrastructure, and mechanical systems to determine conformance with rules, standards, and permits.
•Develop construction and installation plans, specifications, and cost estimates, including construction safety and phasing plans and infrastructure layout coordination.
•Lead larger-scale mechanical engineering projects, supervising subcontractors and employees while preparing and monitoring budgets and ensuring satisfactory performance.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline.
•10+ years of experience in refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, and utility piping design with independent judgment and code knowledge.
•Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
•Knowledge of mechanical systems such as heating/chilled water (hydronics), steam, compressed air, refrigeration, natural gas, and high-pressure water.
•Highly proficient with mechanical engineering principles and building/infrastructure design, including permitting and project work issues.
