Key Responsibilities

  • •Support business development activities including client engagement, opportunity identification, proposal preparation, presentations, and project execution.
  • •Provide leadership for the civil engineering discipline to ensure project deliverables are achieved within the business sector.
  • •Perform engineering review of permit applications, engineering design plans/specifications, standby plans, engineering contracts, integrated management plans, and construction inspections for compliance and standards.
  • •Lead civil engineering projects by ensuring contributors’ tasks and timelines, preparing and overseeing project budgets, monitoring events, tracking hours/expenses, and supervising subcontractors and staff.
  • •Prepare calculations, design recommendations, and technical documents including bid documents, permit applications, and proposals; guide CAD/GIS-related work.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in environmental, agricultural, or civil engineering.
  • •5-7 years of post-baccalaureate experience in engineering.

  • •Registered Professional Engineer in Florida (or registered in another state with ability to obtain Florida registration within three months).
  • •Project manager experience and strong communication of technical information.
