Job Summary

Oversee the Private Wealth Management Division’s tax and accounting services, leading a team of Tax Associates to ensure compliance with fiduciary income, estate and gift, and GST reporting. Develop and implement tax policies and controls, review tax returns and accounting deliverables for client engagements, and drive best practices as tax laws change. Manage third-party consultants and provide leadership with status, risk, and interdependency updates.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee a team of Tax Associates and manage tax and accounting services for the Private Wealth Management Division.
•Develop, implement, and maintain tax policies, procedures, and controls to prevent errors and ensure compliance with required tax reporting.
•Review tax returns and/or accounting deliverables and take primary responsibility for client engagements, identifying and addressing problem areas.
•Manage day-to-day responsibilities for third-party consultants, vendors, and resources supporting delivery of tax returns and accounting services.
•Provide regular updates to leadership on status, risks, and interdependencies of in-flight tax and accounting projects.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 83,200 - 178,800 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in a relevant field or CPA designation.
•7 years of applicable experience.
•1 to 2 years of demonstrated tax leadership experience, ideally within a wealth management institution.
•Develop, oversee, and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with fiduciary income tax and related tax reporting.
•Review tax returns and/or accounting deliverables and assume primary responsibility for client engagements with minimal oversight.
