Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate system-level propulsion requirements into robust PCB designs, including schematic capture, high-density layout, bring-up, test, debug, and propulsion-system integration.
  • •Design and optimize flight controller circuits, power distribution/supplies, motor controller circuits, and electromagnetic actuator circuits.
  • •Perform rigorous analysis including circuit simulations, worst-case analysis, thermal analysis, DFMEA, and component derating for vibration and temperature reliability.
  • •Lead board bring-ups and Design Verification Testing (DVT), qualification testing, and functional testing.
  • •Collaborate across engineering teams for propulsion-subsystem electronics integration, conduct peer/cross-discipline reviews, and perform root cause and failure analysis support.

Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with 5+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs.
  • •Solid fundamentals across Analog, Digital, and Power Electronics.
  • •Deep proficiency with electronic design tools, specifically Altium Designer (or equivalent) and LTSpice (or equivalent).
  • •Competence with laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, spectrum analyzers, function generators, DMMs, electronic loads, and test automation.
  • •Familiarity with standard interfaces (CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet) and common MCU/CPU architectures; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
