Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver geotechnical projects with technical quality and adherence to budget and programme.
  • •Own technical decisions and contribute to team/client technical review meetings with alternative ideas and concepts.
  • •Maintain high client satisfaction and support commercial activities including fee proposals and bids.
  • •Mentor junior staff through personal and professional development and on-the-job guidance.
  • •Lead geotechnical input from desk study/feasibility through ground investigation and interpretation to final design, including specifications, interpretive reports, construction drawings, and design reports.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or BSc and/or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer (IEng/CEng) status preferred or on track to achieve within the next year.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of geotechnical design codes/standards/best practices, including typical ground conditions interpretation and correlation methods.
  • •Knowledge of geotechnical design software (e.g., Slope/W, Wallap) and production of geotechnical analysis/design packages; clean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
