Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver: Act as a Design Lead for elements of a project, liaising directly with clients and the wider design team for day-to-day design development under guidance from a Technical Lead / mentor
  • •Provide Expertise: Manage more junior engineers in the design of infrastructure elements
  • •Deliver: Provide input to the develop
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project delivery from concept through operation
  • •Contribute to risk management and design development across tunnelling and underground works

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to degree level in Civil or Civil & Structural Engineering, and/or MSc/MEng in Soil Mechanics/Geotechnical/Tunnelling Engineering, with/working towards professional membership
  • •Broad experience as a designer in Reinforced Concrete to Eurocodes for underground structures (secant piles, capping beams, segmental shaft linings, D-Walls, tunnels, etc.)
  • •Good familiarity with Geotechnical Engineering principles as they apply to soil-structure interaction
