Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, execute, and interpret immune organoid experiments using tissue culture, including tissue handling and cell isolation through functional immunological readouts.
  • •Establish, optimize, and troubleshoot assays for immune activation, cell phenotyping, and functional response.
  • •Translate bench observations into evidence relevant to drug development decisions and design experiments accordingly.
  • •Collaborate with computational and automation teams so biological interpretation guides what the platform investigates next.
  • •Ensure reproducible, well-documented experimental work and mentor junior researchers as the team grows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 60,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in immunology, cell biology, or a related life sciences discipline, with 5+ years of experience in biotech/pharma or a research environment with translational/drug development exposure.
  • •Broad expertise across innate and adaptive immunity, including strong practical immune cell characterization.
  • •Experience with secondary lymphoid organ biology, including backgrounds such as ex vivo tissue studies, spatial transcriptomics/proteomics of immune tissue, or mucosal immunology.
  • •Strong primary cell and 3D/organoid culture experience, plus familiarity with immunological characterization methods (e.g., flow cytometry, multiplex immunoassays, imaging readouts).
  • •Comfort with quantitative analysis and scripting in Python or R, and strong documentation/communication of experimental results.
