Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and coordinate scopes of work and tender activities for consultants and third-party contractors delivering environmental monitoring and rehabilitation programs.
  • •Provide technical environmental advice and review monitoring and consultant reports to inform closure decisions and adaptive management.
  • •Lead technical engagements with Traditional Owners, regulators, and external stakeholders with clear, respectful, and transparent communication.
  • •Prepare technical environmental advice and external environmental reports, including reporting under Western Australian approvals and regulatory requirements.
  • •Analyse and interpret environmental data to identify trends, risks, and progress against closure completion criteria while supporting environmental data management and records.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Environmental Science (or related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Solid environmental experience across areas such as flora, fauna, water, contaminated sites, rehabilitation, or mine closure.
  • •Experience interpreting environmental monitoring data, technical reports, and closure completion criteria.
  • •Strong project management skills to manage scopes, consultants, contractors, budgets, and deliverables.
  • •A practical understanding of Western Australian environmental legislation, approvals, and regulatory reporting requirements.
