Key Responsibilities

  • •Set technical direction for the AI Products frontend architecture, including component systems, state management, and rendering strategies.
  • •Drive frontend architecture and delivery for the AI SRE product, leveraging AI-powered signal correlation to speed production issue resolution.
  • •Design and build agentic AI interfaces for streaming responses, multi-step reasoning, and tool-use results that users can trust.
  • •Contribute to the Observe Slack integration and own technical strategy for future platform integrations.
  • •Mentor and elevate engineers via code review, architecture guidance, design documents, and pair programming while collaborating with product and design.
  • •Contribute to CLI tooling and evaluation pipelines and expand MCP integrations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 236,000 - 339,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 6 years focused on frontend engineering shipping production products at scale.
  • •Expert-level TypeScript proficiency and experience structuring large TypeScript codebases.
  • •Deep experience building complex, interactive web applications and owning entire product surfaces with long-lasting architectural decisions.
  • •Production experience with agentic AI systems and tool-use patterns, including hands-on work with SDKs like Vercel AI SDK, Anthropic Agent SDK, or LangGraph.
  • •Strong server-side Node.js experience building APIs, middleware, and backend services (Express, Hono, Fastify, or similar).
