Job Summary

Manage safe, reliable power plant maintenance operations and lead the maintenance group under the Assistant Plant Manager. Plan, schedule, and supervise predictive, preventative, corrective, and overhaul maintenance for generating and plant equipment, while directing contractors and maintenance staff. Oversee the CMMS work order program, budget and schedule maintenance activities, investigate incidents and forced outages, and provide maintenance engineering evaluations and troubleshooting to improve performance and availability.

•Manage the CMMS work order program and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet maintenance schedules.
•Schedule and manage preventive and predictive maintenance; continually review and improve maintenance processes and training adherence.
•Investigate operating abnormalities and incidents, prepare maintenance reports, and review/troubleshoot equipment issues; supervise overhaul scheduling and performance.

Salary: USD 121,000 - 182,000

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years supervisory experience in a solid fuel fired power plant.
•Associate degree or industry-recognized certificate in a related discipline preferred, with at least 4 years supervisory experience in a solid fuel fired power plant.
•Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years supervisory experience in a solid fuel fired power plant.
•Thorough understanding of power plant operations with strong maintenance knowledge, including steam turbine technology, mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, and electronics.
•Working knowledge of operations and engineering functions and their interrelation to maintenance, plus demonstrated experience managing electricians, IC&E technicians, and other skilled trades.
