Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce designs and drawings for construction projects and deliver technical reports for masterplanning and to support planning applications; active on multiple projects and client accounts.
  • •Work as a design engineer within teams to produce designs and drawings to support planning applications and construction.
  • •Liaise with clients at local and national levels across multiple projects.
  • •Mentor and manage early career professionals to ensure technical excellence in all deliverables.
  • •Provide day-to-day project management support in the delivery of concept studies and strategies, leading to planning applications or construction drawing issues.

Key Requirements

  • •A civil engineering degree and be approaching Chartered status with experience in highway and highway drainage design.
  • •Post graduate experience in a civil engineering working environment.
  • •Experience in producing masterplans, site appraisals, write reports to support planning applications, design calculations and construction drawings.
  • •Knowledge of and ability to deliver highway design, highway drainage principles (layout, parameters, etc.), surface water and foul drainage designs.
  • •Experience in the use of Windes drainage software and PDS or Civils 3D modelling software together with experience in applying Highways England and Local Authority design guidance.
