Job Summary

Lead the Reliability Engineers Team to deliver the Strategic Asset Management Plan for plant production equipment. Drive periodic reviews of asset management strategies, manage continuous defect elimination, and lead root cause analysis for high-impact events. Maintain action databases, coordinate reporting and follow-through with operations and maintenance teams, and provide resources, leadership, mentoring, and succession planning. Evaluate and recommend reliability-focused technologies and methodologies to improve asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Reliability Engineers Team in compliance with the Strategic Asset Management Plan, including periodic reviews of asset management strategies.
•Manage continuous defect elimination to identify, analyze, and action chronic failures.
•Lead the RCA process for high-impact events to determine root causes, define corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
•Implement and maintain a database of actions derived from defect elimination and RCA processes, and ensure corrective actions are completed through effective reporting and cross-functional coordination.
•Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance/conflict/crisis management for subordinates, including training and succession planning.

Key Requirements

•At least 10 years of reliability engineering and asset management experience in the mining industry.
•Deep knowledge of reliability engineering methodologies including FMEA, RCA, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
•At least 5 years in a senior supervisory role.
•Proficiency with maintenance and reliability systems such as ERP or CMMS, and monitoring systems including SCADA and OsiSoft PI (and/or related databases).
•An engineering degree in a relevant field, or significant experience in Reliability and Asset Management.
