Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work throughout the plant while following Tyson policies, procedures, and safety expectations.
  • •Use hand tools, electrical tools, pneumatic power tools, and equipment to complete assigned maintenance tasks.
  • •Apply mechanical and maintenance skills including welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing.
  • •Perform maintenance duties such as welding/cutting and removal or replacement of motors, shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water lines, steam pipes, and related systems.
  • •Read work assignments and maintenance manuals/drawings/schematics as required, and communicate effectively by radio and in writing.
