Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and service offerings, including modernization, securing networks, refactoring applications, and migrating remaining data center applications to cloud.
  • •Partner with customers to develop mission support IT strategies by assessing current and future skills and technologies.
  • •Shape enterprise architecture and roadmaps for the command using DoDAF/UAF/TOGAF frameworks and ensure implemented use cases adhere to the framework.
  • •Develop “as is” and “to be” architecture solutions for scalability and extensibility, including digital platform architecture frameworks and reference methodology for the architecture team.
  • •Lead enterprise Agile/SAFe activities and deliver MBSE-based model development, curation, and platform implementation under automated configuration management.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS (or equivalent experience) and 10+ years of experience in technical solutions/architecture.
  • •Ability to analyze system operations and recommend improvements to infrastructure and service offerings.
  • •Capability to perform system decomposition and modeling using OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF).
  • •Experience producing “as is” and “to be” architectures with scalability and extensibility, including data framework architecture for performance metrics.
  • •Required certifications: CISSP or Security+ CE or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP (or other DoD 8140 certification); ability to obtain ITIL 4 Foundation.
