Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues using real-time data.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment.
  • •Use technology (laptops and tablets) to perform troubleshooting and documentation.
  • •When required, travel to customer job sites to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and/or oil-free air compressors.
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed; assist with pick-up and delivery and support training as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Experience working on power generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • •Ability to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements and read schematics.
  • •Experience troubleshooting equipment failures and performing corrective action, with strong customer service and teamwork communication.
  • •High school diploma; trade school certificate preferred. EPA 608 certification preferred (obtain within 6-12 months).
