Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead strategy, operations, and continuous improvement of vulnerability management and related application security programs by defining what the process should be.
  • •Own and drive down mean time to remediate (MTTR) across the vulnerability backlog as SLAs tighten.
  • •Build and champion automation and tooling to scale vulnerability detection and response across cloud, firmware/IoT, and corporate systems.
  • •Set technical and architectural direction and translate leadership priorities into an execution plan for the team.
  • •Drive remediation with engineering teams by providing actionable guidance, mentor engineers on secure practices, and participate in security incident investigations; be regularly on call for critical responses.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of relevant experience as a cloud engineer or security engineer, including hands-on vulnerability management across a broad, multi-product enterprise environment.
  • •Proficiency in Go, Python, and JavaScript.
  • •Experience setting technical and architectural direction for a security program and driving remediation across multiple surfaces without direct authority.
  • •Significant experience with modern vulnerability management tooling (e.g., Wiz, Semgrep) and familiarity with CVSS and EPSS.
  • •Deep understanding of SAST, DAST, and SCA, plus hands-on use of AI/LLM tooling in security workflows (triage, detection logic, remediation drafting).
