Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, review, and modify contractual instruments to support business activities, ensuring legal soundness through coordination with panel lawyers.
  • •Represent and coordinate in court proceedings as required, including follow-up with concerned officers and attending court-related meetings.
  • •Establish and build a network of legal contacts and manage liaison with government offices and other competent authorities, including clearances and documentation follow-up.
  • •Coordinate arbitration proceedings, provide required documents to appointed advocates, and follow up on legal case updates.
  • •Prepare monthly and quarterly departmental reports and advise management on legal compliance changes and progress of outstanding litigation.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 14 years of relevant legal experience, with at least 4 years in GCC countries.
  • •Strong experience preparing, reviewing, and modifying contractual instruments (e.g., contracts, tender documents, due diligence, guarantees, MOU/JVs, lease and license agreements).
  • •Knowledge of applicable laws including civil, criminal, labor, and consumer laws, plus general litigation exposure.
  • •Ability to review ongoing cases, advise management, and liaise with and manage external senior counsel.
  • •ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
