Key Responsibilities

  • •Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in multiple data centers.
  • •Manage complete lifecycle for data center hardware, including deployment, operation, and decommission.
  • •Setup and operate common Linux and Windows servers.
  • •Monitor the environmental conditions and power/cooling systems of a data center to ensure they are optimum for servers, switches, storage arrays, and other devices.
  • •Document processes and keep event logs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 1+ year of data center experience; OR 3+ years of data center experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Professional experience working in a data center or with IT hardware.
  • •Certifications related to IT infrastructure such as CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, and CCNP.
  • •Experience with data center infrastructure management (DCIM), including tools to monitor, measure, manage, and/or control data center utilization.
  • •Linux and Windows OS system administration experience.
