Key Responsibilities

  • •Size the total addressable market for AI compute by analyzing who buys chips, who consumes compute, and how demand trends, including whether data center and power supply can support it.
  • •Build and maintain long-term forecasts for AI compute and power capacity demand based on market dynamics, product mix, signed contracts, and renewal/churn assumptions.
  • •Recommend the deployment mix (Colo, full-owned builds, and Spark modular deployments) for different segments and demand profiles to inform capital allocation.
  • •Develop a canonical pricing forecast model using signals like demand volatility, ramp timing, and supply-chain constraints; track and explain forecast accuracy over time.
  • •Build the financial case for build-ahead vs. build-to-order tradeoffs and communicate market view, recommendations, and scaling approach to executive and board audiences.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in demand planning, supply/capacity planning, or quantitative finance, ideally in cloud infrastructure, data centers, semiconductors, or another capital-intensive, forecast-driven business.
  • •Strong financial modeling skills to build a credible view of the market without perfect data.
  • •Knowledge of statistical forecasting tools and techniques such as time series, regression, and scenario modeling.
